WHO IS SAMPSON?

sampson is a little robot character of mine & the mascot for cider space! he was originally intended to be a persona of mine, but i've never really felt that sort of attachment to him. i love him & he's really cool, but not really a good representation of me which is why i call him a mascot instead.
sampson's story has changed quite a few times over the course of their existence, originally i was going to write a short story for it, but i didn't like where it was going & mostly abandoned the idea. its design is based on the originally 1984 macintosh which might be a basic choice, but it is probably my favorite old PC.
in his story, sampson is built as a simple little machine meant to complete tedious tasks for the executives of this big, morally questionable company. though, his creator who currently doesn't have a name, wanted sampson to be something more, & went against the original design plan & secretly gave him a (realitively simple) ai personality function :^O but it remainns very underdeveloped for a long time. eventually, with some help from their creator, sampson starts to learn more about the world & discovers a purpose greater than working for random people he didn't really care about.
this is the part of the story where i haven't really decided what sampson does with this realization? so i'll leave it at that for now.
